When a Party or a Person leaves the he is known for and starts living in evils, the person or parties starts falling immediately bc he have gone contrary to the God of destiny, and such distance himself from his God and original destiny(Fr Mbaka made mentioned of such situations in his song--Mgbe ibidoru mebe njo, Ike na ebube gi anaaa!!) even the Spirits will be against that Person or Party in what he or she is doing; you as a person is also expected to distance yourself from such person or party or you will be drag to the mud with that evil system. For example those that collected dollars, millions of naira from APGA candidates from various States during ever-notorious primary that started tearing APGA apart where are them today with all those ill-,gotten money.

When i listen hon Ben Obi(Igwe APGA) warning last night, that any person that was involved in corruption previously, especially those that collected money before the primary election shouldn't be given the opportunity to pilot the party affairs, so as to bring sanity back to APGA, I taught that this people will take him serious, but to no avail.

That's what just transpired today in APGA Congress where they so called Stakeholders did the same way they have be destroying an Igbo Party Col Odumegwu Ikemba Ojukwu suffered very hard to put in place as the only Igbo party then, now Ojukwu is dead and the cock is almost dead.

Due to my care and concerned for Ndigbo, especially the Anambrarians who have invested Soo much in APGA, i decided to work for the revival of dying APGA as her Youth Leader with my divinely given capacity.

I come to realize today that those selfish old cargos are still manipulating the system; i only pity the governor and the good people of Anambra State bc the political system in APGA is dead on arrival.

Just imagine that they so called Congress/Election committee in my front told the governor that i was sreened-out bc i didn't have party membership card, when i was insisting that election be conducted b/w myself and the person that didn't campaign for the Youth Leader whom the called as the winner.

How can this type of aged men still be feeding the governor with falsehood at this critical time when APGA is almost dead.

I submitted party membership card with my voters card last week wednesday being the 17th Day of May 2023.

I picked my interest form to run for deputy Youth Leaders APGA on Saturday 13th May 2023, went back to Adazi Enu that same evening to feel and return my form.

On Monday being 15th May 2023 i took my filled form to the APGA Party Secretariat,  that was heavy rain that evening that i have to sleep in Awka, so as to fill and submit the form the next morning being Tuesday 16th May 2023.

When i went to the party house next morning 17th May 2023 the person in-charge of the form by name Isaac Obadiegwu told me, that we are meant to submit our form with our party membership card and voters card, which was not in the information given to us earlier.

I have to go back to Onitsha, brought my APGA Party membership card and  voters card, went back to Awka same day, I called Isaac on getting to Awka, he told me to come next morning being Wednesday being 17th May 2023 that the screening will also hold that same Wednesday.

I went to Party secretariate and waited for him, until was directed to Melok hotel where they are doing the screening and collection of the forms, i went to that place and submitted my party membership card, my voters card to the same man that gave me the form at New Melok hotel near government house Awka.

The first time i went tthis man Isaac, i told him that the Chairman of Adazi Enu ward 2 by Chidozie Emegwalu have refused signing my form, he told that once i bring my party membership card snd voters catd, that the issue of Chairman signing or not is settled.

In this particular move and due to this my ambition to salvage APGA was not able to go to wa I lost my phone that monday 17th May at Aroma.

Even today the list of Aspirant and delegates that came from Anaoxha, which was given to TC Chairman Anaocha- Hon Ik Ozo, Mmiri, which they used to their #10000 naira to delegates my name was not their, but that of Tochukwu Obiadi they callead as the winner was there, forget all these evil men they are wicked, heartless and are always after their selfish interest, instead party interest; quote me anywhere; they are non-repentant sinners and APGA is gone QED!!!

But thank God that another mighty Igbo-origin party LP generally accepted in almost all the geopolitical zone, and more interestingly LOL I accepted by all the youths, specially accepted by the Obedient Family Worldwide.

I thank you my friends, fans, relatives for your support to me through your good wishes, prayers to me within this time i wanted contribute my quota for the rescue of an Odumegwu Ojukwu Origin Igbo party, which i found out today that these men are un-repentant, which made APGA dead on arrival.

I am happy to God bc i just witnessed with my own eyes the same that made most of the party faithfuls to decamped into soo many other parties. When most of my friends and my boss Sen Victor Umeh were telling me that APGA is gone bc the Spirit is no longer in APGA, to leave APGA and join LP, I used to these most of my friends who living in Diaspora that the good people in APGA can fixed the damaged image, without knowing that APGA has gone to a place of no return!!!

The Unprovoked Killings United States Government Embassy's Staff others in Anambra State on Tuesday 17th May 2023, was condemned by Anambra State government on her Officials Statement on the incident.

On behalf of the government and great people of Anambra State, the Governor, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, expresses deep condolences to the bereaved families and organisations, particularly the US Embassy, over the death of their staff and policemen who were attacked by gunmen along Atani-Osamala Road, Ogbaru Local Government Area on Tuesday, 16th May 2023 while they were on a mission in Anambra State. 

We strongly condemn the heinous and unprovoked attack. Over the last one year, we have worked very hard with our gallant security forces to massively degrade criminality and restore law and order. We can proudly assert that Anambra is currently one of the safest states in Nigeria. 

Only two weeks ago, the dreaded and notorious criminal gang leader operating mostly in a neighboring state was gunned down with four of his team members when they made incursion into Anambra and recovered huge deadly weapons. The criminals are largely on the run or feeling the heat of our zero tolerance to criminality. 

This incident in a remote riverine community in Ogbaru local government is a reminder that patches of these criminal gangs can still unleash senseless and murderous acts.

Whatever the identity or motive of the attackers, Anambra State government will actively work with the security agencies to smoke out the criminals and bring them to justice. 

We call on anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the criminals to offer same on our secured security phone numbers or to any of the security agencies and such informant will be handsomely rewarded. Investigations are underway.

We assure our residents and visitors of our continued commitment to law and order. If anything, this incident has emboldened our drive.

As the investigation continues, it is important to highlight an important preliminary takeaway from the facts so far. It is evident from reports by the various security agencies in the state that the visiting team made their own security arrangements and totally bypassed the existing security architecture in the state and the state government was not aware of the “humanitarian mission” of the visiting team.  

In a place like parts of Ogbaru where security forces have been fighting the criminals and oil bunkerers, the sight of few policemen can indeed attract vengeance from the criminal gangs. Correcting such lapses and ensuring better coordination will help prevent such avoidable incidents in the future.

The Government of Anambra State once again, expresses its deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. We reassure the United States Embassy in Nigeria of our unwavering commitment to the safety and security of its officials in our State. 

Together, we will prevail over those who seek to disrupt the peace and stability of our society.

That's a good book, written by Hon Ifeatu Obiokoye, i love the Spirit but had it been that without ur position that this type of book was brought up, even the time you were the SA Political to Willie Obiano it would have x-ray all, to show what is needed to make a true democracy come to play in Anambra State government house which will fully support youths fully participation in Practical politics; which we Ego Kristi Youth Movement International trying to to do by partnering with Anambra State government, so as build a mega/Multi-Purpose Company like "Ego Kristi Multi-Purpose International Company(EMIC).

If you can also give some reason while such a Multi-Purpose International Company is not given a support or better direction at your watch as the Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on Political Mattters, instead attention was given to visionless Youth group like "United Anambra Youth Assembly(U-AYA); U-AYA had good plans to help the poor youths in the grassroot which is very good idea but U-AYA visionless bc you can't meet this ends without have a company or something to be producing a youth body, to sale out and make gains so as to be paying these youth leaders/members in  U-AYA, but U-AYA Founder-Hon Chinedu Obidigwe and U-AYA Leaders only rely on the money to get from Anambra State government so as to pay her officials and meet up with their financial need.

But you people as the Special Advisers to the governor should have x-ray and know with this your wonderful book that this youth group U-AYA will fail once the government fails to give her financial support; but had it been that it established a Multi-Purpose International Company like the one we have written Several to your office and various to support, this youth group U-AYA will continue working-on in meeting up with her good vision and mission; but reverse is the case bc the current Governor of Anambra State and leaders of Anambra State government can't not spend such whooping amount of money to get all the youth-leaders in the grassroot to be paid and that was the magic that kept U-AYA waxing strong bc Anambra money is speaking; but i later feel so bad that this honest man Chief Willie Obiano paid for all these extravagant spending with his integrity/Peronality at stake by the EFCC bc Willie is a good man relying on every advise from his brother Chinedu Obidigwe; but all of them whom he was relying on as his brothers betrayed him, but the God in Justice is watching everything and will always play the final part in everything we are doing through his miracles and that's what happened in the last National and State Assembly election bc the people have seriously prayed for God intervention in the system.

Governor Willie Obiano is kind hearted man, who also love the youths and will still rise up again due to his kind heart, while all those Politicians he helped that betrayed him will continue to fall down ok.

So, hon Ifeatu Obiokoye you did a job in this your book, but if you can give us an explanation about what transpired when you were SA to Governor Willie Obiano; it will help to make this your book more attractive to leaders especially the youths.

Excels Stanley My leader i appreciate, this might be the first gift ever i am receiving from a friend being a male or female since i was born.

I have not been favoured despite the fact i came from a royal family and was a closest child to HRH Chief Mek Iloghalu, Obi Okotu 1 of Adazi Enu. My uncle Obi Okotu 1 Adazi Enu, Ogbebuluagha never takes me for granted bc he loves me soo much. 

Whenever he is going for the new yam festival(Awa m ji Adazi Enu), i am the little child to lead in the dance of little boys, that always dance ahead as he goes inside the hall for Awam ji Adazi Enu.

I still have it at the back of my mind still, once we are going in for that Awam ji, the singer that is always his best then for Awam ji Adazi Enu is Mr Leornard Okpala(Peacemaker, de Igbo high life singer from Adazi Enu Isi Okotu ), it pained us that at the pic of his career as Ezigbo onye Adazi Enu, he Peacemaker was spiritually attached, he continue to battle with sicknesses; he ended up only singing in local beer parlours in Anaocha LG and nearby local govt.

He Peacemaker always tell me how he was to Obi Okotu and always sing for him, but since Obi Okotu 1 died, he was forgotten by his children likewise myself was forgotten too.

Please i urging every youth that have good plans for his/her future to always give alms, offer help to others, always give supplizes to ur friends and colleagues, it always open new gates, no matter how small it is.

Obi Okotu 1 of Adazi Enu is devoted Christian Catholic Faithful, he has his royal sit inside the tarbanacle in the altar where the mass servants(Altar Night boys) and that where he stays for holy mass every Sunday, then i was also a committed mass-servant that can never morning mass,  thannk God that Rev Fr Fidelis C Nwosu is still to confirm all this my words.

It was this my uncle Obi Okotu 1 of Adazi Enu that called me one day after Sunday mass, and tell Fr FC Nwosu that i behave like priests, that i don't behave as if i know him again whenever i am serving in the Sunday holy mass; on that note he ask if i want to become a priest, i told him yes that i want to become a priest like Fr FC Nwosu; and bought the Seminary form for me, i then went for the exam and pass, i also went for the interview and also passed.

I was among the four of us my brother(nwadiani m) Mr Chukwudi Iwuchuchukwu Dynasty Chudi , Rev Fr Emmanuel Chijioke Igweokpala, Mr Francis Nnaemeka Ezenwa and myself Iloghalu Luke Osita  that was admitted in Akpu Seminary that faithful year.

It was bitter experience that Obi Okotu 1 Adazi Enu died in ghastly motor accident that year 1991 before my entering the Seminary, and that's where my poverty experience started, bc my own Father Late Luke Iloghalu was killed by arm robbers(that's why i am always mad with arm-robbers, and i always cash them wherever i step my foot; is a grace given to me by God to appease me for the pains)  when i am still in the primary school bc his sons and daughters living outside the Country forgot all the good things their father is doing, and that's where the Obi Okotu 1 dynasty started failing.

 Bc their father and my uncle was a great man with mega affluent with soo many industries, properties in Abia State, in Anambra and in other part of Nigeria; Obi Okotu 1 has his bread bakery industry in Adazi Enu, in Umuahia etc, he was into soo many businesses where he introduce my own late Father and his other brothers and sisters.

But his sons and daughters go-on living in USA, UK etc enjoying the wealth Obi Okotu suffer to built and forgot the legacy he left behind.

I then passed to enter the Seminary, but nobody is there again to sponsor, i then saw it as a big burden to my mum, and told her i will look for helper bc my other uncles didn't my entering seminary serious bc HRH  Chief Mek has died, i first approached Chief Jerome Okoye-Ezechukwuduluo(Canopy Oil) for assistance for entering the Seminary then, he didn't turned but told me that it will look like he is neglecting the doctors, engineers in Iloghalu Family if he take up such responsibility and he gave me then Tin powdered Peak Milk and Bournvita as a provision to help me as i am ready to go into the Seminary soon for the first time.

This is how i started hustling to make sure i go on with my life in the Seminary, what i always do then is that whenever we have break in the Seminary, i will take up my rope(ete) for cutting palm tree, made money from climbing/cutting palm fronts/palm fruits, i also dig-,up sand from gutter and pack it oneside until it is up to a trip of sand, then Mr Moses Ezeokeke father Nkwo -Machine will always bring buyers, all tiper men who will come and buy that sand from me, after i will give my mother all the money to add to my education payment.

Before the holidays ends, some time i goes to this my two uncles Dr Emeka Iloghalu, Mr Festus Iloghalu, who always give me their own little support for my transport and my food in School, but the problem is that they didn't want to take up the responsibility bc they were also starting up their own businesses to blossom as they use to tell me.

Why i gave this wrong essay, is that truly despite help i give to others, poor, Less-privileged for years now, i have never received any physical gift from any person, although i received some monetary alert from so and I see it as an evil siege, yoke and bond which God have broken with my fasting/prayers and with hon Excels Stanley special gift to me.

Thank God for love to me all this while, have started and then open my doors for many gifts to me now and forever in Jesus name, Amen

Kidnappers cut on Camera in Adazi has been arrested, Kudos to Anambra State Police Command.

I met them at Okacha Neni around 9;29 when i was coming back from my brothers traditional marriage held in Chief Nwafor Akuchukwu Anene's Compound in Orofia Village Abagana, they were inside shuttle bus.

They called me to come, i went close to them and they asked me the town i came from, i told them from Adazi Enu; they asked my name; I told them Ositadimma Luke Iloghalu, they droved-off immediately towards Oye Neni direction.

After watching them droved-off, i entered my machine again towards Oye, when i got to Madam Choice shop( Nwanyi Abacha) along that same part in Neni, i saw them again packed infront of that Madam Choice shop monitoring who will be driving towards that shortcut that passed through that Madam Choice shop to White Castle Hotel, so that they can kidnap the person.

I noticed their plan again, as the stand their i found out that they have not gotten any victim to follow, i passed through them again, since they didn't get any victim or any person ready to move; they thought it wise following me again; i looked back seeing them coming towards me, i drove towards the police station ahead and they stopped following.

When i got very close to the police station, i found out that they police blocked the entire road instead of leaving small gap where people usually passed-by, bc i passed through their that evening bc i met with DPO Neni Police Station(SP Uche Asadu) and gave him the Invitation to my thanksgiving tomorrow Sunday 30th April 2023. 

When i saw that road was blocked and those bandit has gone back, i turned; i noticed the police flashing me their torch-light, i guess may be they are signaling me to come back so that they can open the blocked road for me, but i have made up mind and followed that white Castle Neni part very close that Police Station.

I called the Commissioner of Police to intimate him on the latest development in our area bc i had in several people's conversation that these people have be terrorizing these our axis from Nnobi through Neni for like two weeks now, but Commissioner was not picking his calls.

When i got infront of white Castle, i stopped and chatted with some boys and girls, to ease the tension.

I pray against these kidnappers yesterday morning, bc one of my friend Mr Mgbede living in Asaba, whom i gave my IV on Thursday evening told me that since his last kidnapped experience in Onitsha that he is not coming to Onitsha for any events again; instead he will send me his own support.

I was moved by such a pitiable security situation in Anambra State, so i pray and committed everything in the hand of God that morning.

May the name of God be praised, exulted and magnified for his miracles of security unto me and unto us all in Jesus name, Amen

Thank you Prof Chukwuma Soludo, the Executive Governor of Anambra State for your good wishes to me on my birthday, and not only that but you were the first person that sent  good wishes to me on the eve(5:29pm 16th) of my 2023 birthday, what an honour, I am obliged and highly delighted. 

Even the time i worked as an Executive Assistant to the previous regime i have never been appreciated in this manner by the first indigen of Anambra State.

My able Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo this is just to say thank you, may God continue to guide and protect you for your care and concern for our youths; i have seen how you have involved most of our youths in your governance in a more practical way.

As the founder Ego Kristi  Youth Movement International(EKYMI) and Founder of YOUNG AFRICAN LEADERS ASSEMBLY(YALA) , Youth Practical and active Involvement in politics has always being my gospel to our Political leaders, thank God that you are living with example.

Prof i confirmed this your Practical Youth involvement through your first appointment of an outstanding youth leader par Excellence Hon Patrick Agha Mba as the Commissioner for youths(Not importing Commissioner from overseas, as some people thought wise).

I also appreciated the appointment of these colleagues, confirmed Youth Leaders as TC Chairmen of various LG. I thank you for the appointment of these my friendly youths as TC Chairmen as follow TC Anaocha LG--Hon Ik Ozo Mmiri my friend and the Coordinator of YES Anaocha LG and myself the Coordinator of ADS Anaocha, we worked today then as brothers for ndi Anaocha, TC Aguata LG L-Hon Chibueze/Chibuike Oforbuike, a good friend and my senior Course mate in Political Science department UNIZIK, Chibueze was my mentor then as our NAPSS President and i was later the VP NAPSS UNIZIK, TC Dunukofia--Hon Onyemaobi Augustine Nonyelum is my friend and classmate from St Mary's High school Ifitedunu, TC Idemili North LG--Hon Amaka Obi--She is also my friend, we met as Coordinators of U-AYA, she was the Coordinator of U-AYA Nkpor/Obosi while i was the Coordinator U-AYA Adazi Enu ward 2 then.

The above is just a close analysis of the youths you have choose to work-with, and it shows that you went down to the youths yourself and not God-Fatherlism syndrome(importing Commissioner for Youths etc from overseas) whereas we have great outstanding Youth Leaders here like Rotr Ifeanyi Aniagoh, Hon Emma Ezeokafor , Comrade Leonard Goyed , Comrade Uche Michael , Comrade Michael Nweke Okechukwu  , Comrade Blessed Zubys Evangel Okafor , Hon Chinonso Iwuoba, Comrade Okafor Izuchukwu , Comrade Frank Mmaduka, Comrade Okwuchukwu Analike, Hon Blessing Nnamekwe, Comrade Chukwuma Ezeokoye, Amb Aguluka Nnamdi Kingsley , Comr TC Menakaya , Comrade Chibuikem Nneke , Comr Ifeanyi Humphrey Aguiyi, and myself Evangelist Ositadimma Osita.

All the above mentioned youth leaders in Anambra State have been tested and trusted and have what it takes to move the entire State by involving all other youths in the grassroot for a positive change of the political system in the locality to better, where the poor, less-, privileged, the poor youths and the poor aged men will be taken care of. 

Importation of Commissioners etc due to God-Fatherlism has been among the pressing problem for Anambra State all these while, thanks to Prof Chukwuma Soludo TV thanks be to God for giving us Prof Soludo, who is changing the narrative now; thanks to Prof Soludo for allowing God to use him as an instrument of Change in Anambra State.

The age grade of the groom Mr Ikechukwu Adisionu, by name Udoamaka Age Grade Adazi Enu were fully on ground to support their member.

The entire arena for this traditional marriage was filled to the brim bc the two families are very social to people around.

Senior brother to the groome Chief Chukwuma Adisionu(Ezechukwuma) also appreciated everyone present at this traditional marriage, and also provided surplus item 7 in support to his junior brother marriage. A

nd not only that he--Ezechukwuma was also running around, even snapping pictures for his junior brother; to make sure that everything is moving-on fine.

The Nigerian government has warned against planned protests to demand justice for victims of a shooting during peaceful demonstrations in Lagos last year demanding the dissolution of a notorious police unit long accused of abuses.

The youth-led rallies against police brutality brought Nigeria’s largest city to a standstill in October, in a campaign that swiftly widened to include demands about better governance. The #EndSARS protests, named after the police force, spread even after it disbanded and the government.

Anambra state government has suspended the 9pm to 6am curfew, one of the measures introduced to check the spread of Covid-19 in the state. 

The Secretary to Anambra State government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu said that the state COVID-19 Task Force had reported an increase in the observance of COVID-19 preventive guidelines in the state, hence the decision to suspend the curfew. 

“It has been observed that Ndi Anambra and residents have become conscious of the threat to life that COVID-19 poses. There is appreciable compliance to the Covid-19 preventive guidelines issued by the government. We are not relenting, as we shall continue with our various interventions, including public enlightenment, engagement with market leaders, churches, hospitals and caregivers, and other stakeholders with the aim of stopping the spread of the virus in our state”, Prof Chukwulobelu said. 

Continuing, he said that, “Governor Willie Obiano has directed the suspension of the curfew with effect from 6am, Saturday, 13th February, 2021. However, it is important that our people continue to adhere to the guidelines earlier issued; (1) wearing a protective facemask when in public places and outdoors. 

(2) maintaining social distancing at public gatherings (3) washing hands regularly with soap for at least 20 seconds each time (4) using hand sanitizers regularly (5) If you suspect that you are showing symptoms of Covid-19, or feel unwell, contact the nearest hospital immediately. Do not self-medicate”. 

Concluding, Prof. Chukwulobelu reminded that, “Mobile courts have already been set up to try those who violate these guidelines”.

Biden threatens financial, visa sanctions against Nigeria over anti-gay laws

The new US President Joe Biden has signlled his administration would slam Nigeria with financial sanctions and visa restrictions if the African country does not tolerate sexual minorities.

The threat was not only targeted at Africa’s largest economy. Other countries that ban gay relationships were to face similar blows.

FIRST REPORTS reports that homosexuality is illegal in Nigeria, under the  Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act, signed by then-President Goodluck Jonathan, in January 2014.

But Mr Biden in a new memo last week directed all US embassies to promote and protect the human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender persons “everywhere”.

The 78-year-old US President said that all human beings should be treated with respect and dignity and should be able to live without fear no matter who they are or whom they love.

“Around the globe, including here at home [United States], brave lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI+) activists are fighting for equal protection under the law, freedom from violence, and recognition of their fundamental human rights,” he said.

“The United States belongs at the forefront of this struggle — speaking out and standing strong for our most dearly held values.”

Mr Biden stressed that it shall be the policy of the US “to pursue an end to violence and discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or sex characteristics”.

“Through this memorandum, I am directing all agencies engaged abroad to ensure that United States diplomacy and foreign assistance promote and protect the human rights of LGBTQI+ persons”. (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex.)

The President stated that “when foreign governments move to restrict the rights of LGBTQI+ persons or fail to enforce legal protections in place, thereby contributing to a climate of intolerance, agencies engaged abroad shall consider appropriate responses, including using the full range of diplomatic and assistance tools and, as appropriate, financial sanctions, visa restrictions, and other actions”.

He also directed the following actions, consistent with applicable law:

“Agencies engaged abroad are directed to strengthen existing efforts to combat the criminalization by foreign governments of LGBTQI+ status or conduct and expand efforts to combat discrimination, homophobia, transphobia, and intolerance on the basis of LGBTQI+ status or conduct.  The Department of State shall, on an annual basis and as part of the annual report submitted to the Congress pursuant to sections 116(d) and 502B(b) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 (22 U.S.C. 2151n(d) and 2304(b)), report on human rights abuses experienced by LGBTQI+ persons globally.  This reporting shall include anti-LGBTQI+ laws as well as violence and discrimination committed by both state and nonstate actors against LGBTQI+ persons.

“In order to improve protection for LGBTQI+ refugees and asylum seekers at all stages of displacement, the Departments of State and Homeland Security shall enhance their ongoing efforts to ensure that LGBTQI+ refugees and asylum seekers have equal access to protection and assistance, particularly in countries of first asylum.  In addition, the Departments of State, Justice, and Homeland Security shall ensure appropriate training is in place so that relevant Federal Government personnel and key partners can effectively identify and respond to the particular needs of LGBTQI+ refugees and asylum seekers, including by providing to them adequate assistance and ensuring that the Federal Government takes all appropriate steps, such as potential increased use of Embassy Priority-1 referrals, to identify and expedite resettlement of highly vulnerable persons with urgent protection needs.

“Agencies involved with foreign aid, assistance, and development programs shall expand their ongoing efforts to ensure regular Federal Government engagement with governments, citizens, civil society, and the private sector to promote respect for the human rights of LGBTQI+ persons and combat discrimination.  Agencies involved with foreign aid, assistance, and development programs should consider the impact of programs funded by the Federal Government on human rights, including the rights of LGBTQI+ persons, when making funding decisions, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law.”

Some suspected internet fraudsters, popularly known as ‘Yahoo Boys’, on Tuesday protested their incessant arrest by the security agencies.

They blocked Osogbo/Ilesa expressway in the State.

They were said to have stormed the Ilesa West Local Government Secretariat, Ilesa and made bonfire on the road, therefore halting the free flow of traffic along the busy road.

The bonfire was made exactly at the entrance of the Ilesa Council office.

It was gathered that they were protesting against their recent arrest by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

They alleged that the EFCC officials recently stormed the hotel they lodged in and arrested some of their colleagues.

It was gathered that owing to the road blockage, motorists plying the expressway were said to have been stranded.

Some of the road users, who know the terrain, had made u-turn for other routes.

The government of Anambra state has announced the introduction of curfew in the state, to help check the spread of Covid-19 virus. The curfew which will last from 9pm to 6am daily, will start on Monday, 8th February, 2021 until further notice.

Announcing the new Covid-19 preventive measures, The Secretary to Anambra State government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu told Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), that His Excellency, Governor Willie Obiano has directed that civil servants in the state, from grade level one to twelve should work from home until further notice, with immediate effect. 

Professor Chukwulobelu also announced other measures the state government is taking to help stop the spread of Covid-19 in the state. “The state government has activated and made operational mobile courts to try Covid-19 protocal offenders, beginning from Monday, 8th February, 2021”.

“Also, the state COVID-19 Task Force, including the Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Trade and Commerce have been empowered to increase their hospitals and markets surveillance, and to close immediately any hospital (private and government owned), and markets that do not comply with Covid-19 protocols in their operations”.
